Pilchard:
"I started making electronic music at around 10 or 11 years old by dismantling tape recorders to make strange looping devices and delay lines. Aided bey my zx Spectrum and a midi/sampling dongle I was unstoppable!
At about 12 years old I was introduced to the Atari ST and a program called Cubase, with that I was able to churn out tons of midi crap which was no use to man or beast but did make my small but pleasing analogue synth setup happy.
These days my studio pretty much revolves around FL Studio, which I find to be the only soft studio/sequencer flexible enough to do what I want. Another amazing creation, known as Synthedit allows me to make and deploy my own VST plugins very quickly and efficiently to achieve the sounds I want.
At the age of 27, I've decided that making music is all I'm good for. As long as people enjoy it, I'm happy."
