Posset have been emitting noises from their Newcastle, UK base since early 2001. In that time they've sent out a small and diverse number of releases on r.s.i., oTo and Fencing Flatworm Recordings and played in several corners of Britain. Live sampling and mutual resampling are at the the core of the Posset process as they strive to bridge the gap between musics fucked-up and delicate. Highlights in the life of Posset include having their 7" mixed live by Otomo Yoshihide at Turntable Hell, being remixed by Si-cut.db and Extra Slow Sound System, and playing live away from home.
